DNA Green Safe Stain (10,000X)

 

    DNA Green Safe Stain is a safe, highly sensitive, and highly stable fluorescent nucleic acid dye supplied at a concentration of 10,000×. It is compatible with common electrophoresis buffers such as TAE and TBE. DNA Green has a relatively high molecular weight (approximately 1200 g/mol) and cannot penetrate cell membranes, offering the advantage of being safe and non-toxic. Its sensitivity is higher than the traditional dye EtBr. DNA Green has a maximum excitation wavelength at approximately 500 nm, while its excitation in the 250–300 nm range is weaker. Therefore, it is recommended to use a gel imaging system equipped with a blue light source for imaging, followed by systems with a UV light source.
