Description
DNA Red II Safe Stain is a safe, highly sensitive, and highly stable fluorescent nucleic acid dye supplied at a concentration of 10,000x. It can stain dSDNA, ssDNA or RNA samples, and compatible with common electrophoresis buffers such as TAE and TBE.
DNA Red II has high molecular weight and cannot penetrate cell membranes, offering the advantage of being safe and non-toxic. It is more sensitive than the traditional dye EtBr. It features two optimized excitation peaks, allowing visualization under UV (245 nm) or Blue light gel imaging systems.
